Principal Trey Watkins leads the Chargers at Fulshear High School. He has 11 years of experience in education and has served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, associate principal, and principal throughout his career, most recently as principal of Leaman Junior High School. Mr. Watkins earned his bachelor's degree in social science from the University of North Texas and his master's degree in educational leadership and supervision from the University of Houston–Victoria. He and his wife are proud parents of two daughters who attend Lamar CISD schools, as well as a son who will join the district in the coming years. Mr. Watkins is committed to supporting high-quality instruction, fostering growth for students and staff, and building strong relationships with families and the community while continuing the tradition of excellence at Fulshear High School.
